Fresh mint – Needs a cool name

Fresh Mint

One of my favorite flavors of ice cream. It’s light, refreshing and a stomach settler. We steep a bunch and a quarter of mint into the 1.5 quart recipe. That’s a lot of fresh mint. It will steep overnight in the fridge.

Plastic wrap (while not the most environmentally sound item) is crucial at this point. Covering the warm cream so that no air is on top, will prevent that yucky milk film that can happen to homemade puddings.
